After making changes to the file, upload the saved copy back to iCloud Drive on a computer. The document downloads to your default downloads location. In this example, we’ll be using the Numbers app to show how to upload a file to iCloud from a PC. Click Download at the top of the page or double-click the file. This is possible with the iCloud Drive, Photos, Numbers, and Pages apps, and the process is the same in each. One of the most common use cases for iCloud’s web interface is pulling images, videos, and other files off of your iPhone and onto your PC, or vice versa. ![]() To manually add Desktop and Documents Folders to iCloud on Mac, check off the box for Desktop and Document Folders, click Done. You can access iCloud features from an iPhone or iPad, a Mac through System Preferences, and Windows PCs through the free iCloud for Windows desktop app. Just check the box next to the iCloud Drive option on the iCloud app and select Apply to activate Apples cloud-storage service on Windows. iCloud for Windows allows you to sync files stored on iCloud Drive with your PC.
